Infosys announces Internal Carbon Price  at $ 10.5/tn of CO2e

Infosys, a global leader in consulting,  technology, outsourcing and next-  generation services, announced its internal  carbon price at $ 10.5 per ton of CO2e, at an  event organized by the Carbon Pricing  Leadership Coalition (CPLC) in Zurich. A  significant milestone for Infosys, the price will be applicable for a period of two years and will represent the cost of decarbonising 1 ton of CO2e.

NIIT Tech’s Q3 to remain weak; Q4 to ramp up
NIIT Technologies, IT consulting and software company is expected to post its Q3 results on January 17, 2017. The Street estimates NIIT’s profit to remain up but may see revenue and EBITDA falling. Company’s net profit is likely to grow at 7% to Rs 63 crore on reversal of provision. For partial reversal of the provision, during December 2016, the company entered into a settlement agreement with the government. The contract of government was held for resolution of issues in June 2016. The provision amounted to Rs 36.1 crore in Q1 FY17.

DataWind dominates tablet market in India with 33% market share in Q3 2016
